Tours generally last from 2 to 2 ½ hours. The museum opens at 10:00 a.m. for school tours,offered Wednesdays and Fridays. Costs are $5.00 for both students and chaperones. Groups are limited to 50 students with no more than 5 chaperones.
Groups may choose to have lunch on the grounds in the picnic area, but must be contained to that area due to wildlife concerns. Students are also advised to bring an ample water supply as we do not have public water fountains. Hats, sunscreen and closed-toed shoes are recommended.
To schedule a field trip for your class, home school group, or youth group, please fill out the form below at least three weeks before your preferred visit.

Self-guided tours of the Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum and grounds are available year-round for groups of 10 or more guests with an advanced booking of at least 2 weeks. Tours are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Docent-led tours are also available for groups of 10 or more guests with an advanced booking of at least one month. Tours are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The length of the tour varies by time and interests of the group. Ample water, hats, sunscreen and closed-toed shoes are recommended.
